Aiga Rakhesh, MD is a neurologist at the Syracuse VA Medical Center SCI/D Department and is an assistant professor of Neurology at SUNY Upstate Medical University.
Dr. Rakhesh completed her neurology residency at SUNY Upstate Medical University. She has special interests in the field of ALS, MS and spinal cord medicine. Her special interest in research is in the field of ALS and she is a member of NEALS (Northeast ALS Consortium).

Dr. Rakhesh is passionate about teaching and is a part of the neurology residency program at SUNY Upstate Medical University and SCI Fellowship Program at Syracuse VA Medical Center/SUNY Upstate Medical University. She is also the Director of the ALS Center of Excellence at the Syracuse VA SCI/D Center. Dr. Rakhesh enjoys gardening, spending time in nature and traveling with her family.
