Applications for the 2024 Cleveland NeuroDesign Entrepreneurs Workshop are now open and may be accessed at the workshop website. The workshop is set for Sept. 12-15, 2024 on the Case Western Reserve University campus. This weekend event is an interactive workshop for advanced degree students and early career professionals designed to build entrepreneurial skills in neurotechnology using the proven Biodesign method.
Participants will apply the Biodesign process to explore healthtech entrepreneurship — all through the lens of neurotechnology. Featuring an amazing faculty and cohort of students, this course prepares graduate students and early career professionals for a career in neurotech startups, providing a fantastic network to help those just getting started.
Accepted participants will be formed into teams and assigned a clinical need. Then, they will work with faculty, advisors, and mentors to design a solution and build a business plan around their solution. Teams will receive didactic instruction, mentoring, and one-on-one advising throughout the program. To end the program, teams will pitch their solutions to a group of judges
Applications for the program are free and students admitted into the program will be provided with three nights of lodging at the conference hotel. Meals will be provided throughout the program (dinner Thursday through brunch on Sunday).
Travel costs are the responsibility of each student, although some limited travel awards may be provided as partial reimbursement depending on availability. Students are strongly encouraged to seek needed travel funding through their labs, home institutions, or companies.

Applications for the 2024 workshop are due by June 21, 2024. Acceptance notifications will be mailed on or around July 8, 2024.
