Aasef Shaikh, MD, PhD, the Penni and Stephen Weinberg Chair in Brain Health at the University Hospitals Neurological Institute and research scientist in the Cleveland Functional Electrical Stimulation (FES) Center at the Louis Stokes Cleveland VA Medical Center, lead a team of researchers to define guidelines using global data for remote methods to decide the urgency of dizziness as a symptom.

The U.S. Department of Defense awarded more than $800,000 to study the experiences and needs of Veterans and civilians with spinal cord injuries during the first year of recovery as they attempt to reintegrate into the community.
