My research focuses on developing technologies that interact with the peripheral nervous system to improve treatment of pain. I am particularly interested in electrical nerve block approaches that selectively modulate pain sensation while preserving normal movement control.

I also develop implantable biosensors and investigate how physiological and neurochemical signals can be used to enable closed-loop therapeutic systems. Broadly, my goal is to integrate sensing and neural modulation technologies to create more precise, adaptive, and personalized treatments.
