Research interests focusing on neuropsychiatric outcomes of brain disorders across the life-span, including epilepsy, stroke, Alzheimer’s Disease and other types of dementia, and Parkinson’s Disease.<\/p>\n

Additional research interests include self-management of chronic health conditions such as hypertension and diabetes, health disparities, and health rating scales used in clinical trials.<\/p>\n

  • Examining the Impact of Anxiety and Depression on Patient Engagement in Healthy Behaviors:<\/strong> This supplemental grant from the American Heart Association\u00ae Research Goes Red initiative is to evaluate the impact of depression, anxiety and stress on diet quality and physical activity, exploring the relationship between mental health and adherence to healthy lifestyle behaviors among a community-representative group of women in Northeast Ohio.<\/li>\n
  • Managing Epilepsy Well Network:<\/strong> This research collaborative is focused on developing an evidence-based epilepsy self-management program.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
