My research focus has been on investigating the mechanism of action of Electroconvulsive Therapy (ECT) using animal models, variables affecting outcomes in ECT, and the use of rTMS in depression.

Current clinical and research interests center on the application of non-invasive brain stimulation modalities for the treatment of depression and other mental illnesses. By exploring the variables that influence treatment outcomes, we aim to refine neuromodulation techniques to provide more effective, targeted relief for patients who may not respond to traditional therapies.
