Sheffler, Lynne, M.D.

Research Statement
My board certification is in the field of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation.
My research and clinical interests are in the areas of neurorehabilitation and include the application of surface electrical stimulation in stroke, spinal cord injury, and brain injury. My specific research focus is on the application of formal Gait Analysis to elucidate the altered pattern of muscle activation, joint angles, torque and power generation during ambulation with the application of neuromuscular electrical stimulation.
